Outline
The Pilot Action ‘Regional Innovation Policy Impact Assessment and Benchmarking’ aims to encourage European regions to assess in a systematic way the impact of their innovation policies and strategies, and to create methodologies and instruments for benchmarking regional innovation performances. Eight projects launched in 2005 are part of the Pilot Action.
Scope
The scope of the Impactscan project is defined as deliverable for Workpackage 3.
Working Programme
The overall plan will be given as well as more details concerning the different stages: definition, methodology, implementation and analysis, and conclusion and policy building.
Expected Results
Objectives
Main objective of this project is the development of an innovation policy impact assessment methodology and instrument. Transfer of this methodological instrument to other European regions is a must. Measurement of the regional impact should be improved.
Consortium
The partners’ consortium is taking a start in Western Europe from France via Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany to Austria and extends to the New Member State regions Slovenia and Poland (Lower Silesia) in Eastern Europe.
